Should be able to understand the NPI requirements and do necessary analysis, investigation and design work.
Writes high quality code in accordance to specifications
Performs software engineering activities using Java [Application Design, Implementation, Test and validation.]
Performs code reviews
Supporting implementation and post-installation testing and fixing of any problems
Adherence to agreed timeline as defined by the release plan
Represent their team at Project meetings
Understanding and following approved project methodology (Scrum, SAFE)
Performs other job related duties as assigned

Education and Experience
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering - Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
Experience of 7- 9 years is preferred
Knowledge and Skills

Good working experience in Servers (Windows, Linux or UNIX), Storage Technologies (SAN, Arrays, Management software), Networking softwares. Experience in performing Analysis/Investigation, design, and test planning of new features/functionalities.
Mission Critical Enterprise Management solutions.
System management and cloud management experience across IT operations, services and tools (e.g. HP Operations Manager, Datadog)
Machine-to-machine and IoT solutions and platforms
Very good hands on experience in Core Java, Collections, SAX/DOM, Multithreading, JSP, Servlets
Very strong in handling large files of XML in-memory, parsing, reading, changing, saving etc..
Strong in regular expressions, this is vastly used in our applications.
Frameworks like Spring, Jaxb, and Apache POI.
UI Experience: HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, JSON, Angular JS, BIRT open source
Web services: SOA, Restful.
Webservers: Tomcat, Apache
Database: Oracle, H2 (in memory database), CRUD operations and writing complex SQLs.
SCM + Build / Deploy Tools: Maven, Jenkins, GitHub
Development IDE : Eclipse, IntelliJ
Testing: Junit, Makito, Powermock, Selenium, QTP, Fitnesse, Bug tracking tools like ALM
Concepts: Data Center Care, Test Driven Development (TDD), Agile (SAFE) methodologies, Continuous integration, Open Source usage/knowledge, Strong Analytical Skills, Data analysis skills, Good UI skills.
Knowledge on below are added advantage.

Proven ability to work well with diverse and global teams spanning US, Europe, India
Demonstrated strong written and verbal English communication skills

Should be quick learner having the capability to self-learn with reasonable mentoring.
