Position: Telco Engineer
Experience: 5 7 yrs

Support the NOC team for voice infrastructure related issues.
Managing and tracking new orders, trouble tickets with Carriers
Manage the Toll Free number inventory and the call routing plans
Provide guidance and consultation on Telco related queries to the Client facing teams and in some cases the sales teams.
Test and evaluate new carriers, products and solutions for the IVR platform.
Develop a full scale plan for migration of the infrastructure from legacy TDM to the current technologies.
Configure the necessary components to onboard Toll Free clients on the TDM and SIP infrastructure
Work with and support the Sales and Pre-sales teams on sales calls and deployment scoping
Interested in learning legacy telephony
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering or related filed.
Good knowledge of the ISDN PRI and SIP protocols
Good understanding of the TDM multiplexing schemes like OC-3, DS3, DS1 and E1.
Hands-on Working knowledge of any VoIP Gateway, SBC and ISDN switch.
5+ years experience in the telecom domain, especially in a service provider environment.
Ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts and business issues verbally and in writing to clients, associates and management
