The incumbent should be self driven, should have high passion to succeed against all odds , high on achievement orientation and long term commitment to business.
Should be able to recruit large number of Sales Officers & develop them through continuous training to ensure consistent business through the Sales Officers month on month. 
Should be well networked in his local area to ensure consistent business individually & through his team members.
Should be able to plan on target achievements month on month & ensure achievement of targets as per plans. 
Should be able to quickly assimilate information with regard to various life insurance products Company has & train his team of Sales Officers on the products. 
Should be able to educate team members with respect to various incentive schemes Company has to offer & motivate his team members to drive business through the incentives scheme available on achieving business targets. 
Activate Promotion Programs, Build Databases, Organise prospective meetings, corporate Meetings, Professional Association Interaction, Work Site Meetings. 
Drive Distribution Objectives-Target segments / Reach /Penetration /Cross sell / Up sell. 
Have Local Market Knowledge, Track Competition Activity and Practices. 
Coordinate the functioning of sales, Operations, Training and Service Personnel to ensure effective delivery of customer proposition. 
Retention of Staff: Ensure a healthy work environment and social interaction with team of Sales Officer to inculcate a team spirit within the branch. 
Ensure compliance to Branch Audit Checklist and KYC/AML/IRDA guidelines at all times. 
The incumbent should be of high moral, social conduct and high on integrity & ethics .
