Skills set :
Hands-on experience in networking, routing, and control, switching and monitoring of server infrastructure

• Experience with firewalls, Internet VPN’s remote implementation and troubleshooting IPSec-VPN, DHCP, SSL -VPN

• Ability to set up and configure server hardware

• Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies

• Maintains network performance by performing network monitoring, analysis, and performance tuning

• Secures network by developing network access, monitoring, control, and evaluation; maintaining documentation

• Fortinet, Cisco, CWNA or BCNE training

• Good knowledge of Peripherals like printer scanner, Windows Servers, and Active Directory

• Takes an active part in preparing RCA (root cause analysis) for Network related outages

• ITIL foundation certification would be an added advantage

Roles/Responsibilities:

• In Charge of administering the IT environment of the organization.

• Install and configure software and hardware (level 1,2 Desktop Support)

• Coordinate with Vendors for problem resolution

• Manage network servers and technology tools

• Set up user accounts, workstations, manage hardware and software inventory

• Troubleshoot issues and outages

• Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls

• Upgrade systems with new releases and models

• Maintain the internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies

• identifying and solving any problems that arise with computer networks and systems

• assembling new systems

• monitoring computer networks and systems to identify how performance can be improved
