Job description:

The Agile Coach is an expert in Agile methodologies and techniques. The coach is also adept at change management through influence and facilitation. This role actively works with all areas of the enterprise to transform teams to become self-organized and high performing. Additionally, the coach fosters agile adoption with the ultimate objective of delivering software faster, cheaper and of higher quality.

• Participate in the development and delivery of Agile and other supplemental training curriculums in support of all active projects

• Demonstrates in-depth expertise in Agile methodology and best practices including Scrum and XP

• Recommends process improvements to increase team productivity

• Provides leadership, direction, and consulting for project in alignment with the applicable frameworks

• Provides guidance to teams on Scrum values, practices, and rules

• Coach and mentor all roles within Scrum

• Coach Scrum Masters in strengthening capabilities

• Assist and support Scrum teams in resolving conflicts through training, education, and influence

• Evangelize, encourage, and promote Agile transformation and organizational change

• Remain current in Agile development industry practices through active involvement within the Agile Community

• Identify and communicate improvement areas, deficiencies, and non-Compliance issues; escalate as needed

• Help create a sustainable, continuous improvement culture and process; identify and drive improvements in supporting team commitments

• One or more Agile certifications such as (but not limited to) CSM, CSPO, PMI-ACP, CSP, CSC, SA (SAFe Agilist), SPC (SAFe program consultant)
